NHDES Issues Comment Letter on Saint-Gobain Site Investigation Documents, June 16, 2020

NHDES issued a comment letter to Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics (SGPP) on June 16, 2020 in reference to four reports that address the ongoing site investigation work in the vicinity of the SGPP Facility in Merrimack, New Hampshire. The four reports addressed in the comment letter include:
- Report on 2018 Stormwater and Surface Water Activities (SSWA), Volumes I & II, prepared by Golder Associates, Inc. (Golder), dated March 15, 2019.
- Site Investigation Report, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, prepared by Golder, dated April 19, 2019.
- Supplemental Site Investigation Data Transmittal, prepared by Golder, dated March 11, 2020.
- 2019 Annual Groundwater Summary, prepared by Golder, dated March 18, 2020.
In the letter, NHDES requests submission of a Supplemental Site Investigation Report within 120 days that includes a preliminary screening of remedial alternatives. See the full copy of the letter.
