Overview of the NH ATSDR APPLETREE Cooperative Agreement – YouTube Video
On Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services and Department of Health and Human Services held a virtual information session about a cooperative agreement between the State of New Hampshire and the CDC’s Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). This cooperative agreement provides support to communities concerned about exposure to environmental hazards, such as chemical contaminants. The goals of the meeting were to provide an overview of the cooperative agreement, share an update on ATSDR’s activities in Merrimack and listen to existing concerns from the community of Merrimack. This meeting was not an update about the NHDES PFAS Investigation in Southern New Hampshire, nor was it a public hearing related to any permitting or regulatory activities.
